Urooj Khan is an actor, writer and script supervisor based in Toronto, Canada. Her work spans film, television, commercials, and theatre. Known for her dynamic presence on stage and screen, Urooj consistently brings a nuanced and compelling voice to her storytelling.

She marked her playwright and directorial debut in her stage play of From The Ashes in June 2026, produced by Mishka Social Services and sponsored by the Canadian Heritage Fund.

Urooj holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies (University of Guelph) and a Media Communications Diploma (Humber College) from the University of Guelph-Humber. She specialized in journalism and she was awarded the Media Studies Research Excellence Scholarship (2020-2021) for her final year thesis.
